Choose one of these quick-to-prepare shakes and give yourself a moment to enjoy them with breakfast or snack. Your body will thank you.

1. Super Nutrient Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • Half bunch of fresh spinach
  • 1 handful of sprouted peas (8-10 cm, with all the green sprout)
  • 1 small cucumber with skin (organic)
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 2 or 3 glasses of mineral water

Preparation

Wash fruits and vegetables well.

Chop the pears and the cucumber.

Beat everything together in the blender glass until you get a thick shake.

To make it even more nutritious, you can add a spoonful of green wheat powder.

2. Antioxidant Smoothie

Ingredients for 2

  • 1 tablespoon of purple corn (powder)
  • 2 bananas
  • 150 g of strawberries (optional)
  • 375 ml of fresh water
  • 8 mint leaves (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil (optional)

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in the blender until a smooth texture and serve very cool.

You can decorate it with nibs of cocoa or with some aromatic leaf.

Coconut oil provides its aroma and enhances the absorption of antioxidant pigments.

3. Tropical Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • Half bunch of fresh spinach
  • A bit of agave or 3 or 4 dates

Preparation

Wash the pears and vegetables.

Put all the ingredients in the blender cup with the coconut water and crush everything together.

Serve immediately.

This smoothie is a good option to start with green smoothies for its smoothness. It gives you good doses of minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and iron.

4. Chicha Morada

Ingredients for 3-4

  • 4 tablespoons of purple corn (powder)
  • Liquefied pineapple
  • 3 apples smoothie (optional)
  • 3 cloves
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • One lemon's juice
  • Sweetener (optional)

Preparation

You just have to mix all the ingredients in the blender and strain.

Leave it in the refrigerator for a few hours to take it cold.

You can choose other fruits in season to enjoy them at their best moment of flavor and with all their nutrients. In Peru, chicha morada is a popular drink like coke, but natural and healthy.

5. Energy Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber with skin
  • 1 stalk of green celery with its leaves
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon chlorella alga powder
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 2 or 3 glasses of mineral water
  • Some fresh mint leaves

Preparation

Wash the vegetables.

Put all the ingredients in the blender cup next to the mineral water and crush everything together.

Serve immediately.

Bananas give creaminess to the mix, as do chia seeds, which enrich the smoothie with its omega-3 fatty acids.

6. Wild Green Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of dandelion
  • 1 stalk of celery with leaves
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 peaches with the skin (only if they are organic)
  • A quarter of pineapple
  • 2 or 3 glasses of mineral water

Preparation

Thoroughly clean vegetables and fruit.

Chop the celery and pineapple.

Bone the peach and cut it to quarters.

Crush everything in the glass of the blender, along with the rest of ingredients, and serves immediately.

If you are not used to taking green smoothies, you can increase the amount of fruit and moderate the dandelion and celery; over time, it invests the proportion to reduce the contribution of sugars and increase the depurative effect.
